Flatau Farm
Where you can know your fruit and farmer by name
A 3-acre family farm, we aim to bring you the best tasting tree ripened fruit at local farmers markets since 2001. We grow cherries, peaches, nectarines, apples, pluots, grapes and Saskatoon berries in the Columbia Basin. Interacting with you, our customers, is what keeps us going and growing! 2026 Market Update
“We experienced a severe frost on March 31st that affected our crops, especially our stone fruit. As a result, our 2026 market attendance will be abbreviated. Our aim is to attend the Richland Farmers Market each Friday. Attendance at Saturday markets - in either Walla Walla or Pasco - will be sporadic and based on fruit availability. We’ll continue to send out our weekly email newsletter, as well as post on Instagram and Facebook, letting customers know what fruits we’ll be taking to which market and when. So stay tuned, and we hope to see you soon!”
Your farmers
Hi! We are Paul and Sue Flatau. It’s our privilege to bring you fresh, tree-ripened fruit grown on our three-acre family farm. You can find us at area farmers markets throughout the season. We are located in the Columbia Basin about 25 miles north of Pasco, Washington.

Our fruit
Our motto is “fruit that tastes good” because we are passionate about bringing you the best tasting fruit we can. Acknowledging that everyone’s tastes are different, we offer samples so you can try before you buy. Moreover, we label each fruit we sell with the variety name, allowing you to learn the name of your personal favorites. This is important as some varieties are available only one or two market days each season — and you don’t want to miss out!
